Project Details

  1. Site Preparation & Excavation: The area designated for the manure pad was cleared of all vegetation, debris, and any obstructions. Excavation was performed to achieve proper subgrade for the concrete pad foundation.

  2. Grading and Gravel Installation: The site was meticulously graded to ensure proper drainage and surface leveling. After grading, a layer of compacted gravel was applied, providing a stable base for the concrete pour.

  3. Compaction: The gravel base was compacted to meet the project’s requirements for load-bearing capacity and stability, ensuring the foundation would support the weight and operations expected on the manure pad.

  4. Rebar Installation: Steel reinforcement, including rebar, was strategically placed within the pad to enhance the structural integrity of the concrete, preventing cracks and ensuring resistance to the harsh conditions associated with manure storage.

  5. Concrete Pouring: A 3500 PSI concrete mix was poured over the prepared base, ensuring high durability and resistance to wear and chemical exposure. The concrete was evenly spread and leveled to meet the design specifications.

  6. Finishing and Curing: After the concrete pour, the surface was finished to provide a smooth and durable surface for easy cleaning and maintenance. The concrete was then properly cured to achieve optimal strength and longevity.
